Headed Back to Texas!

Return of the Midgard Serpent, 2014
Return of the Midgard Serpent, 2014 – polished finish

The big news? We’re moving back to Texas to be closer to family!  The hill country is calling and I’m looking for work in sales of stone and tile.  If you know of someone who can point me in the right direction, send me an email.  Meanwhile, we’re looking at houses to rent in San Antonio or Austin.  Expect a number of visits while we wait for the sale of the house and begin moving.

I’m returning and so is my new work, “Return of the Midgard Serpent”, an homage to the original, “Rise of the Midgard Serpent”, installed in the lake in The Woodlands, Texas, 1985.  This new work is a limited edition cast bronze sculpture, mounted on a base made of absolute black polished granite.  The first casting was completed in January 2014 in polished finish.  It can also be produced in the colors of the original that was installed in the lake.  These works are for sale.  If you’re interested, email me and I’ll let you know prices and terms of sale.  Typical lead time from date of order is 8 weeks.  Casting, chasing, polishing, and patina work by Adonis Bronze, Provo, Utah.

  1. Best of luck in your move…Cant help with jobs in Texas but with your tallent some one will grab you. Were you moving there??

  2. That’s our plan Bob. We’ve had 15 great years out in the West and we expect we’ll make annual trips to visit but it’s time to get back closer to family, and most of them are in Texas. Kids grow up so fast you know!
